Changing the look of WVCS

Here we are at the school (WVCS) taking the wall out of the library to make room for more books and a computer lab. Willamette Valley Christian School is making some changes to improve its look and offerings! It's exciting to see new things taking place. We had a good time taking the wall down... Jeremy kicked out part of the wall and Ben got to use an axe!

Jeremy had a BAD case of the hives for a couple weeks! We didn't know what from but we think it was from a new fabric softener... oh well! He is over it now but oh boy it was bad!!

Alyssa got to have a sleep over at Grandma Kathy's house! She met an old friend at the park (Angelee) and they had a great time... they found that even though Angelee lives in India and Alyssa here they do have a lot in common! Makes the world seem so small!

John's hours are crazy right now... they gave him day time hours but didn't find anyone for all his night hours yet so he is working 3pm to 11pm one day and then has a day off and then works 11pm to 7am! Hope they get that worked out soon! He is also still doing Drywall so he is a VERY busy man!

New Blog Site, Lettered in Track, Straight A's and Jeremy!

Hello...
This is our new blog site since .mac wants money for theirs! Guess I should have read all the fine print... no glasses! Oh well!

Ben Lettered in Track this year! We are so proud of him! He really likes track and did really well! He threw the shot put 34 feet, the discus 102 feet, and the javelin... well we won't mention that one! He also did a couple of the relays. The Warrior men came in second in state, tied with Saint Paul! That was a huge accomplishment for them since we are a pretty small team compared to others.

We got the report cards and SAT results the other day... I'm proud to say that everyone is doing well in school. Ben got honor roll and Alyssa got straight A's!! Alssa also got the science award for the second year in a row! That is cool!

Jeremy is riding his bike with NO training wheels! Ben taught him and he hasn't stopped since! He gets more exercise than all of us daily!!

We are almost all in our house... I have about 15 - 20 more boxes to go through and we will be "in"!

John has gone to working days... the swing shift... 3pm to 11pm. He works Mon - Thur and Sat. This is his first night... I hope he likes having more interaction with the kids... I think he will!

Well that is our updates... I'll try to get pictures next entry!
